Open Question: Help! D: How to get over my nerves and does he like me? ?

All help would be really appreciated :) First of all, I need help with getting over my nerves around the guy I like. I just freeze up and I hate it because I don't want to come off as uninterested. I can joke around with other guys I don't like but when I do I become so nervous and reserved. How can I show him I am interested without being to blunt? So there is this guy I like but I don't want to go out on a limb if he doesn't feel the same. So he has sat on my lap and has asked me to sit on his but I dont because of nerves and I think I'll break him xD Lol! Whenever we hang out with friends to eat or something he saves me a seat by him or comes to sit with me. Once when we were eating he didn't want to start eating until I took at least the first bite even though everyone else had already started. When we were once waiting to perform in a concert, while we were seated he did the whole stretch and put his arm around me thing but had a smile like he was playing around and I really didn't respond to it :( When he found out we were both going to be in the gym for a class he ran up to hug me and when our friend was like "Group Hug!" he just said "No, only me and her" and pushed him off. We used to have silly arguments where we would get in each others faces until our faces were inches away and just stare each other down trying to suppress our laughter. We would stop until I would either move away or a friend would be like "kiss". Whenever we are in the hall or class he oftens sees me and just stares and smirks at me. On a out of town trip with the band where I took a pillow and blanket, while we were waiting to load the buses I was lying on them because I was so tired and he would lie down beside me or take it from me and make me lie with him because I wasn't going to start fighting for it xD I was so tired! The thing that just gives me doubts is because my friends and I always joke around in a really silly sexual way. So I just think to myself "He is just playing around like he would with any of our friends" but then I realize that he hasn't done any of that with them. So I just don't know if he likes me and I want to know how break through my barriers and show him my interest. Like how can I start a text conversation with him and how to talk to him to get to know him better where it could be more comfortable :) Please, please, please help me :)))) I need it... BAD!! XP

Open Question: I made my older cousin cry? ):?

My cousin Trevor (17) and myself(15 and a girl) We got into a huge fight last time we saw eachother,which ruined our relationship because we were really close. I'm not going to go into detail about the fight, cause its a long story. Anyways, we had a family gathering over the weekend and we were both there. He saw me, and i sord of ignored him. Then he pulled me aside in the evening and said ''Lets go for a walk, and have a chat'' so we were walking and where my grandma lives is like a farm so basically all dirt roads. So finally I said ''If you're trying to get me to forgive you and give you time to thoroughly explain, I'm not going to because there's nothing left to explain'' He put his arm around my shoulders and gave me a light hug. I said ''We haven't spoken for 2 years, come on trevor. We were so close, you practically were my older brother. Lets not act like this towards eachother. I'll put everything past me if you do the same and we can start over'' he said ''okay(: '' and we hugged then walked back and we talked again like it wasn't 2 years since we saw eachother last. Then we were downstairs later that night and the basement was a mess already, it was just the spare beds weren't made and trevor and i were supposed to re-make them but we just watched movies and visited instead. Well, we were both sleeping in the travel trailer- him on the pull out couch, me on the bottom bunk. We got a 6 A.M. wake up call and we both fell back asleep. Then my mom came yelling at me because she thought i was the only one down stairs that night. So she made only me, clean the basement. So, I was downstairs cleaning when trevor comes down the stairs saying ''Whats up?'' I said ''Whats up? Are you fucken kidding me? Look at this fricken mess Trev! You wouldn't even take full responsibility with me when my mom started yelling at me telling me to clean the basement, you just stood there, and i thought you would have said that you were apart of it too, you're fucken 17 trevor, not 14.''' Trevor tried to say something but i wouldn't even let him start. Trevor looked speechless, so he just went and sat on the couch and I ran outside through the back door. I thought he would've came outside after me, but he never did. I waited, thinking he'd come help me with the tractor and he never came. So, I went inside the house (him&I the only ones there at the time) and I could hear a strange noise coming from downstairs.. I walked down stairs and there I saw Trev. Laying on the bed sobbing. (Don't tell me he's weird, he's never bottled up his emotions and he's a emotional guy once in a while).. I slowly walked beside the bed and I said ''OhMyGosh. Trev.. I am.. I am.. So sorry'' Trevor said ''It's fine'' i said ''No, of course its not fine. I yelled at you and I made you cry, thats not right'' So he was laying head down in the pillow so i basically pulled him up and made him stand up and walk to the couch with me. Trevor was still in sobs, were he was trying to choke out words but it wasn't working. We just sat there and I hugged him and rubbed his back. I said ''I'm so sorry, I feel awful that I made you cry, We both were crying by the end of the huge fight we had 2 years ago'' . I stopped hugging him and we both just sat there, he was still crying his hands over his face): . I said ''Trev, talk to me.. '' Trevor said ''It wasn't all your fault that you made me cry, well you just made me cry and I still am but your practically my little sister that i never had,We've been there for eachothers ups and downs. (Him starting to cry again) I don't want to lose you,as a friend. Your more like a friend to me. by this time I was starting to cry and I said ''Trev, you're such a great guy. You're the sweetest and you have the nicest heart, you're very handsome and you're loving and loveable..Don't ever stop being the way you are now because people love you for it'' he grabbed me basically and hugged me tightly. Trevor said ''You're pretty sweet your self there hun'' We hugged and murmured ''I'm so sorry for everything'' back and forth. We drove up to the grocery store and bought some stuff for dinner. I really feel bad that I made him cry, what would you do if you were me?

Open Question: Accidently scraped my wrist?

I was just getting a pillow down from on top of my wardrobe and i caught right next to my vein. It's not bleeding or anything, just hurts a little. I'm washing it with cold water and some tissue. It's basically healed now just a little bumpy cut thing. I have anxiety so this is worrying. Am I gonna die???

Open Question: Mistaking dandruff for headlice?

Recently, I have been itching my head more than usual. I'm not tearing my hair out but it is slightly annoying and it's making me paranoid about hugging/being close to anyone physically. I also had my 8 year old cousin have to live with us for 2 weeks due to an act with social services. She had headlice, and we only found out a few days before we got told she was going home so we told the services about it and they are dealing with it and her mother. Anyway, I didn't have any physical contact with my cousin. The most I had was sitting near her. From what I know of, she didn't use my hair brush and didn't lye down on my bed pillows. We have definately used different towels and different hair bobbles and such. I haven't found any actual headlice in my hair, and I am not constantly itching, it just tends to be when I think about it. I have discoverd small pieces of dead skin in my head, but I just assumed that was due to itching. I am mostly itchy near my ears, and back of the head. I am going to check if I do have any, and get someone else to have a second look. What I'm just wondering is, can I get rid of them naturally? I heard vinegar does the trick but I'm not fond of the idea. Also, I'm trying not to make my mother have to spend about 30 quid on some random formula. So far I do think I just have dandruff. But I'm doing this just to be safe. Thanks for any help ox

Open Question: How to decorate my room?

Ok so my room fairly big My bed is placed diagonally on my wall that is on the north side my closet is probably 14 ft down and my night stand is by my bed and my little blue soft cap holder box is at the end of my bed then on the west wall My dresser is in front the window and I have a zebra curtain and on the east wall My computer desk is there and I have A zebra conferred then a dark brown comforter with different colored flowers on it and a light blue comforter then right now I have a limegreen comferter with flowers on it and I Have Four different colored flower throw pillows and a purple fuzzy throw pillow and two other throw pillows and I need to redecorate my room but I can't paint it and I'm a really good artist but I can't draw on my walls and I can't spend money so I need help on where to move my furniture. O and I have a small bookshelf and a pink chair with a zebra thrown pillow on it and a stuffed zebra pillow.So please help!

Open Question: Where should I go from here?

Alright, so in my novel, my main character is in a hospital bed, unconscious because she almost got raped because the guy that killed her mother has kidnapped her and she wasn't answering his questions so the guys that brought her to him are having "their time w/her". But her guy best friend, Stephan, and her brother, Taylor, have found her, beat the guy's who're trying to rape her asses and we're left with Stephan crying over her while she sleeps in a hospital bed. Here's an excerpt: He steps closer to her, grabs her dangling hand from the side of the bed and kisses it softly. Her skin is cold and her auburn hair is fanned across the pillow, the bright color contrasts with the white, resembling fire. Her eyes are closed so he can’t see the hazel underneath. She’s deathly white. The pink color that used to form on her cheeks has been drained out, but she’s alive. Stephan falls down to his knees and the tears finally escape his eyelids. He tries to cry silently because he doesn’t want to wake Koda, but the guilt has caught up with him. Why didn’t he watch her at the Relay? Why did he talk to those guys? It was a trap and he fell right into it. If it wasn’t for him, she’d be at home now, resting by a fire and not struggling for each breath. He hears the door close. The doctor has left him to cry with Koda alone and he doesn’t care. Now, I don't know if I should wake Koda (the main character) up, or make her have a conversation w/her mama, and her mama's telling her to come back. Or, I don't know if I should not wake her up, do Stephan's POV for a while and have him go to the police officer, find the killer, and then Koda wakes up. I want to stretch the story out, but I don't know what my readers would like. Help?

Open Question: Burns/Scratches and Sleep-Talking (Repeat Question)?

Hi, I'm a Teenage Girl and I have found unusual scratches/burns all over hands and fingers recently. I have a fear of darkness (I know bad for a Teenage Girl) but I keep my light on at night till I fall asleep and my mother will then turn it off when she comes up later at night so I won't know. My mother said when she comes in sometimes she hears me sleep talking, she once asked me 'Can I turn off your light?' because she thought I was awake, I sat up and turned to face her and I said 'It's fluffy' and then dropped back down to my pillow, quite funny if you think of it but my mother has had many experiences with me talking in my sleep before, at sleepovers I also do it. One time I was shouting out in my sleep 'Ow! My eye...' Don't know why, guessing it is my dream. I also have had experiences of sleep-walking, once I was walking across the landing to go to my parents room for a drink but before I got there, I dropped to the floor, about 30minutes later, I woke-up and walked back to my room. (I knew the time because of my alarm) I also found a coat hanger, my brothers mobile phone, a bottle of lemonade and a spoon? under my pillow, don't have a clue how it happened. Open Question: Have had mono for 4 weeks, white bumps and stripes in throat?

sorry it's really long! I am just concerned, and want to find some answers! :) Okay, so my doctor diagnosed me with mono around 4 weeks ago :( I have been home, feeling awful, but I had been feeling a little better the last couple days. But, yesterday, I started feeling awful again, and today I feel like I felt on day one! My mom looked down my throat, and she said that it looks like there are white bumps and stripes, and she said it also said it looks like blood vessels popped or something (she compared it to a blood shot eye). I had tonsillitis a lot as a kid, and had my tonsils out around five years ago. She got me an appointment with the doctor later today, but I was wondering if this is common with mono? my mom said it could be strep, but I've had strep and I don't think that is how my throat feels! I just feel really nauseous and my body is achy and I have had really bad headaches for the past few days ... sometimes just dull pain, sometimes I've had to treat it like a migraine and go into a dark room. My back has been hurting, and my stomach has been hurting. I've been getting lightheaded really easily, even though I've been really careful to stay hydrated and eat protein. I have been really fatigued during the day, and completely listless - don't have enough energy to do anything but lay down - but at night I have serious trouble laying down! It actually seems like I can't fall asleep until after I get rid of my pillow, and then I can't remember when I fall asleep it happens so quickly! Around a week ago, I was coughing like crazy and I was coughing up phlegm, and then I coughed up something so big that I thought I had thrown up! It filled up my mouth, and when I spit it out (into the toilet) it looked like it was kind of a light brown, and it was around five inches long, and had a diameter of about 2 inches. I flushed it before my parents could look at it, so they didn't really know what to do, but they told me to tell them if it happened again, and it hasn't. My dad thinks it could have just been a lot of phlegm, and I had eaten spaghetti so he thinks the sauce could have caused the color...idk. So, yea, it DOESN'T feel like strep. What could it be? Is it just the mono progressing? :( or is it something that mono could have caused? A friend of mine at my dance studio had mono when she was in high school and she didn't rest (and I haven't been doing a great job of that, either), and ended up getting spinal meningitis - i don't know what the symptoms are, but that showed me that mono can cause other issues, and I want to make sure that I am prepared to ask the doctor as many questions as possible when i go in later. thanks! :)

Open Question: i cry a lot and sometimes i dont know why....?

Im 13 and i know hormonal issues my period and stuff but i havent had my period and im just barely starting puberty. Sometimes at school ill see a personor hear something then it triggers something in my headto make me want to cry. This may have to do with the fact that im moving all the way across the country, which is another reason why i cry. But sometimes ill come home and completely break down. I ball my eyes out and scream out in sadness till im so tired that i fall asleep at thetable with tears running down my cheeks still. I often cry myself to sleep too. I also wake up to find tears all over my face and pillow. Then sometimes ill be crying then all of a sudden im angry at myself at my things at my pets and parents that i just end up ripping paperthen crying more. I also cry because when i move i know ill be the girl who tries to fit in but ends up eating in the batheoom stall alone..... Is there something wrong with me? Please help........ and also is there a book that might help mre cope with our move. That will give me a sense of comfort? Thank you in advanced

Open Question: **Helix Piercing Help**?

I would like to add usually I know everything about piercings but I'm really unsure I've never had this happen to any of my piercings; Thursday night I went to a professional and the place I have gotten my industrial and 2nd lobes at (got all my piercings and my helix done with a needle and everything was sanitary ect) K So, I've never had this on Any piercings so I'm kinda scared in a weird way. I woke up like Friday or saturday(having a brain fart) morning and I was sleeping on it, I wasn't trying to but I Cleaned it and had new pillow case and stuff on just incase. It pretty much because red, and swollen like really badly. Here we are Sunday night swelling went down a tiny bit but it's still red and(as off like half an hour ago when I had my mom clean it) now it has white puss and some blood coming out from it. I have a flat back stud/earring in it and it was big to leave room for swelling that could occur. I put ice in a cleaned ice back and ice'd it for hours it helped with the swelling but not much or well. **What should I do?? I Have a new industrial bar being made by them and it's going to be ready within a few days so I'm going there guaranteed in a few days- but what should I do for now besides clean it twice a day and avoid getting bumped ect.? ???? ** I did put neosporin on it as I have put it on my industrial before(when it was a month old) and nothing bad happened to it.
