Begonia Camellia Collection

Begonia Camelia

The Camellia Begonia Collection , 'Begonia', brightens up the shady areas in the garden and around the house with beautiful, colorful Camellia Begonias. This collection includes two bulbs of each of the five cultivars we offer; orange, white, pink, yellow, and red. Plant them in shady gardens with protection from direct sun at all times. Plenty of water is essential to keep begonias from wilting, but too much water will quickly rot the roots. Use bloom boosting fertilizer to encourage multiple big camellia-like blooms. Pinch off side buds to produce large blooms up to 6 across! Start bulbs early indoors, Feb-April, and move them outdoors after last frost. Jumbo-size bulbs, 2 in diameter. Hardy in zone 10; elsewhere dig and store before frost.
