The Grass 'Leather Leaf Sedge', Carex buchananii, is an upright grass and a native of New Zealand. This variety prefers moist, fast-draining, rocky soil. The finely textured copper foliage contrasts vividly with dark green, blue, and silver plants. Equally at home in containers and rock gardens. This evergreen perennials copper foliage is attractive on this fine textured grass. The clumps can grow up to 3'Ö tall, with a spreading form and arching gracful & dainty foliage.
