Impatien New Guinea Celebration Lavender Glow

Impatiens hawkerii

The Impatien New Guinea Celebration Lavender Glow, 'New Guinea Impatien', displays beautiful purple flowers. Shade plants are hard to find and New Guenea Impatiens fill that niche with vibrant beauty. The Celebration series has been bred to be grower friendly with very large flowers. They are great for baskets or even gallon pots and landscapes. Impatiens are a low maintainence flower but do require frequent waterings. Place in moist but not wet, well-drained soil. Fertilize twice a month in beds, every week in containers. This plant can also be a perennial in warmer zones.

RIGHT TREES, SHRUBS CAN WITHSTAND WISCONSIN WINTER.(Daybreak)

Winter can be tough on Wisconsin's trees and shrubs. Low temperatures, rapid temperature changes, winter desiccation and the weight of ice and snow can damage vulnerable trees and shrubs. Trees, shrubs have purpose

Mike Allen - Tree Care A reader of my Tree Care articles called and asked why I focus the content of my articles on problems with trees and shrubs rather than the benefits? The reader's point is well taken. In my business, when there are no perceived problems with trees or shrubs in the yard, I do

Trees, shrubs beautify the winter landscape

The first lecture I heard on "winter interest in the garden" left me skeptical. "Not my season. Not that interested. I'm shutting it down and staying inside," I thought. Back then I was a vegetable and flower gardener, hadn't learned my shrubs and trees, and probably hadn't learned to use my eyes
