Iris Invitation

Iris Germanica 'Invitation'

The Iris Invitation, Iris x germanica 'Invitation' is a fragrant reblooming bearded iris that has yellowish white flowers and orange colored beards. With a velvety texture and beautiful sword-shaped foliage, it has a plant height of 34'¥. Invitation blooms in the spring and then again in the fall. It prefers average, well-drained soil. Invitation prefers full sun, but will tolerate a little afternoon shade. It will make a great addition around pools, ponds and water gardens, and for mass plantings. It can also be used in difficult banks and preventing erosion. They also make magnificent cut flowers and are resistant to deer.
