Ladys Mantle

Alchemilla mollis

The Alchemilla 'Lady'Ös Mantle'Ö, Alchemilla mollis, is a brilliant foamy clusters of tiny, star like flowers with velvety soft olive-green leaves. The foliage catches and holds water drops while sparkling in the sun. The flower color ranges from yellow to green and blooms in late spring to early summer with a height of 18'¥ and a plant spread of 18-24'¥.'Lady'Ös Mantle'Ö will grow well in sun or shade in rich, moist, well-drained areas. (If summer temperatures are too high, grow in partial to full shade). It is best used for edging with Coral Bells, Geraniums or Hosta'Ös. The blossoms can be used as dried flower arrangements. If one is looking for a fast growing, low maintenance perennial as a ground cover or mass plantings, this is the one for you.
