The Lungwort High Contrast, 'Pulmonaria', also known as Bethlehem Sage, is a great ground cover for any shady area, helping to lighten up parts of the garden. The green foliage is wavy, spear-shaped and speckled with silver, not to mention mildew resistant. The large pink flowers fade to blue. 'High Contrast'Ö has a plant height of 18'¥ and a spread of 18-23'¥. 'High Contrast'Ö needs to be planted in a fully shaded area with well-drained soil. It is a wonderful contrast with hostas, under shrubs and along paths. 'High Contrast'Ö is a vigorous grower and is resistant to slugs. This plant is great for a first time gardener. PPAF
