75 Years Ago Tuesday, April 27, 1937 • Ray Herbeck of Los Angeles, orchestra leader, said last night he and nine members of his orchestra arrived in Lincoln, Neb., safe after spending more than 24 hours stalled in a snowdrift two miles south of Beresford, S. D., on U. S. highway 77. Herbeck said three members of the band are still unheard from.
