Spirea Fairy Queen at Domestic Merchandise

Spirea Fairy Queen

Spiraea trilobata 'Fairy Queen'

Fairy Queen Spirea, spiraea trilobata 'Fairy Queen', is a profuse blooming, compact shrub that is covered with masses of flat-topped white flowers in May and June. The deep green summer foliage develops an orange-yellow fall color. It makes a good foundation planting or for limited spaces since it grows only 3 feet tall and as wide. It requires sun to partial shade; range of soil types except wet; drought tolerant. It has a dense, compact habit with slender, spreading branches. This deciduous plant is drought tolerant and moderate to rapid growing. It is one of the easiest flowering shrubs to grow since it is tolerant of many soils, except extremely wet. The plant also likes mulch and summer watering and prefers full sun to partial shade. It can also be used for groupings or border shrubs.
