St Johsnwort Sunburst Midwest Strain

Hypericum 'Sunburst Midwest Strain'

Midwest Strain Sunburst Hypericum, hypericum 'Sunburst Midwest Strain', is always attractive with its handsome blue-green foliage, bright yellow summer blossoms and reddish-brown seed heads. This cultivar has proven to be superior in tests across the Midwest. It withstands drought, wind and extreme cold and heavy soils of the Midwest. This deciduous plant can be an evergreen in warmer climates. It prefers full to partial sun and is a moderate grower to 2 to 3 feet tall, 4 feet wide. Sunburst can be used as a border plant, hedge or groundcover. It is extremely hardy and deer resistant.
